In photography, exposure is the amount of light per unit area reaching an image sensor. It is determined by a set of parameters including lens aperture, shutter speed and scene luminance. In between the spectrum of love, there exists control, attraction, dependence, thirst, lust, compensation… We are born to love ; We never get enough, We even fall head over heels, just to grasp the chance to dance with you. This work adopts the operational vocabulary of photographic practice as its artistic methodology, using it to explore the different manifestations of love within a studio setting defined by white, curved walls. The kinetic energy shaped by street dance is transformed through a series of processes—“exposure,” “shutter release,” “flickering,” “distance,” and “light adjustment”—through which the body gradually captures emotional memories.

As emotional experiences are projected onto the space, the approach and retreat of light, along with the mutual attraction and control between bodies, unfold in conjunction with the spatial characteristics, image projections, and varied uses of light sources. The gradual erasure of the horizontal reference and the shifting vanishing point further allow the body to move beyond established orders of viewing.

Finally, drawing on the traditional photographic printing and developing process, the work revisits the evolving relationship between love and the self, bringing it into focus and preserving it.




























曝光指在攝影的過程中允許進入鏡頭照在感光媒體上的光量，可經由光圈、快門和感光度的組合來控制。愛是控制、吸引、依附、愛是衝動、渴望、妥協、愛是與生俱來、愛是不會滿足、愛是你死我活、愛是在你面前跳到難分難捨，你眼中有我，我眼中有你，曝曬在這個宇宙上的最佳光量。
　

本作品以攝影術的操作語彙為創作方法，依此呈現愛的不同樣態為手段，並發生於白色圓弧牆面的攝影棚場景。街舞所形塑的身體動能，經由 「曝光」、「擊發」、「閃爍」、「距離」、「光量的調節」 等步驟的轉化，身體逐步展開對情感記憶的捕捉。隨著情感經驗的投射，光的逼近與退避、身體的相互吸引與控制，結合空間特性、影像投影與多樣的光源運用，水平參照的消隱與消失點的游移，也漸漸脫離既有的觀看秩序。最後，作品借用傳統放相顯影的程序，重探愛與自我的關係演進，將其凝結、保存。
