Fragmented, intimate, real — inscribing our ___ through the body.

Since the Middle Ages, women's bodies have been suppressed, lacking autonomy, with a male-dominated aesthetic governing their every move. "l'écriture féminine," coined in the 1960s by French feminists, explores women's long-standing silencing. Prominent advocate Hélène Cixous asserted, "To write your body, your body must be heard," advocating for women to develop their own writing systems and symbols, breaking free from male-dominated discourse. Following such a writing model, employing nonlinear narrative and fragmented techniques, using dance, using discourse to depict real-life experiences of dancers, from girls to young women, offers a reexamination. It uncovers misinterpretations, hidden relationships within the body, family, and social groups. This dialogue with oneself and with the audience, gradually spreading, reflects a microcosmic perspective on contemporary society's overall reflection.
