Repetitive shifts of paths, occasional collisions,
The bodies here are flickering.
Sounds pressing upon me, rewriting me with remnants and gentleness,
Yet, unaware of their origin and destination.
"Don't ask me, I am also perplexed."
"Don't ask me, I am also perplexed.”
"Don't ask me, I am also perplexed.”
As if it is my calmest cry to the world,
The response comes like a clear mirror, but it cannot stop the emotions embraced within.
There is no one to confide in,
Thinking of descending into the next crevice.
When repeated “utterances” become a form of prayer, the ceaseless cycle tears open a fissure—passing away, yet also ascending.
The turmoil of body and mind falls into the daily inertia of loss of control and tension, yet through the relentless strike of each forceful beat, the surface tautness gradually loosens, allowing a renewed dialectic in confrontation with the self. This work seeks to respond to the fractured state of self-identity, transforming bodily oppression and the disorientation of direction into an emotional text, translated through dance, sound, and installations. Across different stages of repetition, it opens fissures for contemplation and re-interpretation, extending the inquiry into the unfinished, unending proposition of self-recognition.
